I’m not looking for fabbers, just questioning is €77 for a ticket warranted?

I’ve always like The Streets but never thought of them as “premium/box office” act. Am I just old or does this seem quite high?

Ticket prices in Ireland are extortionate

I suppose one can show their disdain by not buying them . They ll sell out though , and Irish gig goers make for very special concerts

I am not a huge fan . Cry your eyes obviously great . However fit and you know it is widely considered in the best Glastonbury performances ever

Kasabian are actually the headline act but I’ve no interest in seeing them really. I think I’ve seen them 2/3 times at this stage.

So the ticket price is for 2 bands over about 3 hours

Is the price including the Ticketbastard fees

I’ve not completed the purchase but let’s say it’s €77

Saw em at Glasto, they were surprisingly good for a bit of nostalgia. Loads of energy still!

€77 for said band does seem high in fairness esp if you've also got to pay TM their cut as BM said. If you're getting 2 acts over 3 hours then I suppose it's doable as long as you're interested in both acts. I was looking at going to an act in Dublin and tickets were approximately €50,probably play for an hour and a half. We're getting fleeced down here. Saw a another gig in Belfast I was interested in seeing and tickets were only £25.

It does seem like we are fleeced down here. The only answer is to vote with your €. Unsold tickets will send a message. To use Mike Skinner's own words... "Don't mug yourself"

kasabian for some reason have a good street cred, but are a poor suede or ocean color scene, as for the streets, the eartly version of proff green? A grest somg or two. But 77euro , id rather pop on spotify
