Just a public health post, women in the swinging community do qualify for both free Prep (HIV prevention medication) and mpox vaccine in Ireland. This information is not very clear in all the leaflets out there. Anyone in the swingers community can get both.

I was offered Hepatitis injections too when I started my fab journey and went to the clinic first time for regular testing. I was honest with the nurse and she offered it and prep.

We were both offered (and got) hepititas injections but not prep. We are always honest with them.

Anyone who has sex with multiple partners. Just say that you are a swinger and you get it, after blood screening and bunch of questions, but yes, it is open to anyone.

I'm from Yorkshire and at the clinic I got offered both hep injection and prep. They have to do blood tests on females to make sure they're OK to take them as there bone structure and liver function is different to a man and can cause damage. My blood tests came back and said I couldn't have it at first at the clinic but when they told me to go for emergency blood taken at the doctors as they were low they then came back as perfect lol. So now I've got 3 months worth of tablets for free. That's with locala and I told them everything they needed to know

Not sure how it is with NHS, what I stated only applies to HSE, as far as I know.
