East / North, Cork

Don't overthink it. It's an evening out in a Dublin bar. You're in Dublin it's probably quite easy for you. No reason not to go.

Go to the Sunday social it’s free and you can dip toes and then maybe go to a social another time like Halloween or something. Dv8 is always one of the best nights out I think.

Don't go with any expectations other than a good night of drinks and chatting with other fabbers

Make sure you have your initiation dance prepared. Caught me off guard and I was mortified

We are keen to visit DV8 but we would have to stay over as a bit of a drive .

Wish hotels were a little cheaper in Dublin … unless anyone knows of cheaper options

Sunday socials are the best, we wish we were closer to dublin just to be able to attend them more often.

It's an open invitation to the Sunday socials you don't need to ask. Just turn up and have a blast .

"Are they on every Sunday?"

It's on most Sundays unless they have a private event booked in. It's good to check their forum thread or message them to check.

I only started going relatively recently (mainly to the Sunday Socials).

Met some really cool people there.

For various reasons, work and travel, I can't go every time but will be going again and recommend it.

Lisbon/ North England/ Wales/ Madrid/

Bring coins for the pool. The ManUtd-Spurs match must be on display, nice screen btw.

Fair drinking prices, not abusive at all.

Couple of buses put you in town in 15 minutes so, very handy.

If you look for chat you might easily get it, it’s up to you to make the effort or not.

Another travel suggestion for those of you that know DV8 location. It's a 5min walk from Heuston Station. So on a Sunday. Leave the car get the train in. And walk or take Luas up the hill to DV8.
