As the post says were looking for recomendations for hotels in gran canaria.venus star seems well booked out for when we wanna go and la mirage seems like an older couples place? Anyway any info appreciated tia.

Gold is lovely. Not a swinger hotel but adult-only and lots of hints in the decor.

You can get a day pass for Venus Star for approx €30 (can't remember), it's well worth it. Bring your passport as id.

Agree with above

We love Gold and would always choose to stay there and do a day pass to Venus etc. Gold is so central and fun can be had in the rooms. Venus is abit out of town and there aren't many restaurants and bars nearby. Taxis are essential in the evenings, but quite cheap. A photo of your passport details is sufficient for a day pass.

Lots of hotels are now adults only or empty of kids anyway during school term

But they also do a wristband system as they're half board or full board so you can't bring people in

But you'll find there's more from fab staying there anyway

Great tips! Looking forward to checking out the dunes but also bars and beach clubs. I've done Cap D'Agde but first time in Maspalomas next week.

We stay in HL Suites hotel 5 min walk to beach 10 min walk to cita and yumbo centres nudist sunbathing area with 2 hot tubs and adults only ..
