Will the new trend towards 3D printed concrete walls for buildings see the demise of traditional blocks and block layers.

Next development might be 3D printed cocks........

Fotos of 3D printed phalluses could mean a sad end for the much maligned dic pic.

As a person working in the building trade I know first hand it is very difficult to find block layers . So between ICF houses and 3 printed it should speed up the building of much needed houses.

We have a culture of quarry based construction, primarily because that's our main natural resource.

I think we'll see a shift towards SFS/LGS construction and the use of various cladding systems in the future.

Quicker to build but also very efficient to heat and in achieving air tightness etc. Will alow for lots of different shapes and colours also.

They build house to plan in a factory in Germany for years, ship them over, and build them in 5 days, that didn't get rid of the builders....yet
