This isn't so much a question as it is me letting people know that I'm hear to chat if you need someone to talk to. Specifically, I have quite a lot of experience in the following areas:

- Talking to your doctor about depression

- Dealing with severe depression and anxiety

- Depression and anxiety medication

- Suicidal ideation

- Self harm

- Suicide attempts

- Dealing with the Irish Mental Health System (or lack thereof)

- Adult neurodivergent diagnosis

- Dealing with cPTSD

- Dealing with BPD

- Dealing with AuDHD

- Discovering you've been masking for years and may not be who you think you are

- Self care techniques

- Meditative techniques

- Exercises and techniques to deal with sudden depressive thoughts

Basically, as an open book person, I will happily discuss any of the above or related topics through my own personal experiences. I can tell you about attempting to take my own life by suicide 16 times. I can tell you about my visit to a mental hospital twice. I can tell you about everything I've gone through since I was 7.

I may not have said, but above all, if anyone is feeling suicidal or suffering a major depressive events - I am here.

I love helping people any way I can and will help anyone who needs it 🤓

Good on you, always a good to have that support out there. Been in those places before and support was greatly appreciated.

The thread title is a bit misleading OP, as mental illness is not exclusive to people with neurodiversity, although the risk is higher for that group understandably.

And mental illness itself isn't considered neurodiversity as far as I know.

Our brains are mysterious things!

Complex issues, always tread lightly and with kindness 🙏🏻

The main point of my post is dealing with cPTSD, BPD and AuDHD. Surrounding these things are all the other related issues.

I think the title is fine 🤷‍♀️

Thank for your points made though 😃

I like to think I'm pretty up to date with this stuff having a very neurodiverse family, but even I had to Google some of these terms.

I hope you're feeling ok OP, and that you have help when you need it. I would always point people looking for help at professionals, but I know that's often easier said than done.

Good for you! Very admirable.

I am glad to see mental health even being discussed on here. We are more than body parts, we are a whole human being. I wish there were more posts like this but this is a great start!

The title has nothing to do with all the things you’ve mentioned.

And I would be very aware of talking about mental health issues with the unknown person on fab. It’s too serious to trust a stranger. You never know if he’s a therapist or a psychopath.
