Ulster Irish (or specifically Donegal Irish (Gaeilig dTír Chonaill) would be the native Irish spoken by people in Donegal, and while not native to other parts of Ulster, would be the dialect for people in the other Ulster counties came from, Ulster Scots was a language/dialect that has a unique mixture of English, Irish and Scots ( a separate Germanic language)

Tá brón orm a chara (sorry friend) Honestly, in your defence, learning/teaching verbs is a pretty bad way to teach a beginner, I would always tell people to learn simple phrases first (Dia duit- hello, Cád é mar atá tú- how are you etc), the resources I have focus heavily on just speaking and not so much on grammar.

This is absolute crap! Ulster Scots and Ulster Irish are completely different languages. Perhpas you are getting confused with Scots Gaeilc and Ulster Irish which are very similar. Best you keep yourself out of things you clearly don't understand.
