Swingers - secret signs!

Jump to newest

Morning folks,

Just read a wild article about the swinging scene in Florida in the US! (I will never look at a pineapple the same again)

The basic premise of the article was all the different signs swinging folk leave for each other to indicate they are into the lifestyle! The big one seemed to be loofah - which is basically a sponge they hang from their cars!

Question for the older battle hardened pre-Internet folks! Was there any swinging signs around back in those days in UK and Ireland?

Sean

A pal of min who was in the Military in the UK told me when hubbys were away, the wife would leave a bold washing power box in the window!!! Haha, nearly sure he was winding me up! Always makes me smile when I am doing the shopping in Tescos and end up down that aisle

Hot Press magazine was great except you could actually leave a mobile number on the ad

Friends once placed an ad offering gay porn on VHS tapes once the postage was paid giving my mobile and telling men to ring me and to ask the titles

Feck sake my phone was ringing for months

East / North, Cork

I don't think there was a universally accepted sign here or in the UK.

Maybe we should start a way of indicating when up for play ?? Like when in a bar leave mobile phone face up on the ciunter if interested , face down if not ??

Or we could just ask people. Like adults. That way there is no confusion, no leaving things open to misinterpretation and most importantly, no consent issues
