I'm patiently waiting on a phone call from mine as 3/4 days now..you can have all the warranty cover in the world but they soon wiggle their way out of it in the small print..

My next car is definitely gonna be a disposable😡

Apparently ATM there is a huge shortage of mechanics as nobody is taking up the trade. I really wanted to do it back in the day but couldn't get anyone to take me on. Online research says they are all leaving due to crap pay and conditions. With the cost of parts rising, people don't want to pay the labour costs. The mechanic I use those have a 2 to 3 week backlog. If it's a handy enough job I normally give it ago myself.

They don't get paid enough compared to sparks and plumbers apprenticeship wise .. no garage is gonna pay 170 tax free travel (country money) like the big industrial companies do
