How did someone outside of my age range managed to message me?

I know that you can't even wink to someone that has filters put in place, yet I still received multiple messages from someone that was over the age I have set on my profile

I haven't, it was a new profile, and it was gone after 2 days as well🤣 but still it left me scratching my head of how did that person bypassed the age range

If you set an age filter and don't block anyone outside of that they can message it's kinda a double filter i supose...
