A nice rock

Something about the climate and bees.

I wasn't really listening.

The bees emigrated to Australia and the ladybugs got insta jealous or something

Haven't seen many lady birds in my garden. I keep an eye out for them. They eat the baddies.

Heard that it has to be above a certain temperature for a bit for the butterflies to come out. Have seen a good few in last 2 weeks alright

I've seen plenty of both, but then my work might be something to do with that.

I also have a wildflower garden so that may help as well.

I've sown a wee wildflower garden too but it was a bit late in the season maybe so it's only started to get going

Unfortunately everything is manicured to look good.

Hedges and hedgerows all cut, so wild flowers can't grow, hence the lack of insects for butterflies and ladybirds to eat.

The flowers on your duvet cover are very inviting to your moth never mind a butterfly ( said in my Dublin accent )

My garden is both large and wild. So I'm up to my nipples in butterflies.

Only seen a few ladybirds though

Not where I have to run or cycle in the mornings... a bit more trimming would be appreciated!

Thought that was my post at first!

Only seen a few butterflies and ladybirds. Read somewhere that the butterfly is thriving more in Scandinavia due to global warming, funny that with the summer we have had. Apparently wasps are great for eating bugs from plants but like most don’t want a nest of them.

I did you need to go looking to find the ladybugs, butterflies are much easier to spot. Lovely to see either around to be honest.

Valley of Squinting Windows

Have a lot of, let's call it rewilding, going on in my garden, so no shortage of butterflies and bees, haven't seen a ladybug that I can recall in the last couple of years. Wasps tend to become more common in Autumn as it's the fruit season, have seen quite a few in the last week, suspect a nest nearby

Somewhere in Co. Down

I've seen no ladybirds and only a tiny handful of butterflies and very few bees as well. It's been a bad summer for them.

Plenty of slugs and snails tho they are in abundance this year.

Near Belfast

Quite a lot of butterflies, very few bees and wasps 🐝 and maybe one or two lady birds in my garden this year.

A lot less than previous years, I think. πŸ€”

Shame really.

What is it with cars? The roof of mine was plagued in them.
