We have a lay-z-spa one that goes up in spring time and goes down in the autumn. Had it 3 years now and no issues at all. The kids are in and out of it daily, and we sneak in for a relax at night.

Upkeep is changing the filter every few weeks and chucking in a chlorine tablet as necessary. Not difficilt

Got a lay z spa tub a few years ago. Great for relaxing in the evening. On hot days turn the temperature down and dip in to cool off.

Very little maintenance with them.

Tbh for us its working out about an extra 10 or so pounds a week...depending on the weather and how often you have it on...but its no more than say £50 a month roughly

This time of year is perfect as shops want to get rid of the summer stock and these take up loads of room. I think we got our 6 seater lay-z-spa for €300 or so at this time of year. Check out homesavers.

We have one that has fire box for heating up

Takes about a bag of timber to heat up over 2 hours or so

Electric air bubbles and lights

My partner fills from well water supply

No chemicals needed

We let the water off into the garden

Use it on weekends mostly

Was expensive to buy but low running costs

As in scrap builders timber which I have in storage

My partner does the hard work filling it cleans it and I supply the timber lol

It's lovely on a frosty night looking at the stars

we empty it every weekend and refill water supply is from our own well

And crystal clear

That makes sense

The electric ones need to be maintained at a warm/hot temp (because the heating up time is longer than with wood) and so are more likely to be a nice temp for bacteria buildup. It's handy being able to just hop in to an electric one anytime though. I guess there are positives and negatives as with everything

We just fill ours from the mains throw in a wee bit of chlorine light it about 5pm a and it's ready about 8pm or depends on how hot you want it lol

Got big one few years back now lazy spa lights up all diff colours bought a sauna tent no gd in rain so going to build one have a shed just need to line the walls with timber and use the fire from sauna tent there handy just blow up may take it down end September put in shed takes up no space when I'm box
