John's street is kinda the pub hub. But it's all teenagers mainly once dark. Geoff being the exception. That's why I'd go with the reg instead

The reg is a meat market if that's your thing. They have a nice bar upstairs called Sush but it tends to be hired out for private parties a lot. Tullys on O'Connell street is good. They have an outside area that they share with another place across the road. Geoffs at the Apple Market is good too.
