I'm 25 and I've never been with anyone before. I want to have sex for the first time but I don't know what to do. I've tried all the apps, no joy there. I feel so lonely. How should I find someone?

First of all, manage your expectations here. Many people find it much more difficult to find sex on Fab than on singles apps.

The best way to increase your chances on Fab is to get yourself to socials and events. Put yourself out there and you'll meet loads of lovely people. Some of them may be indeed looking for inexperienced people they can play with.

If you're prepared for your first time to potentially be someone you never see again, or only casually, then good luck here.

If you're looking to cure loneliness, that's a much bigger ask and not something easily found here.

But who knows, you might get lucky and find your future partner here- plenty of people have!

At 25 you're not much different to most other 25 year olds to be honest

The days are well gone of being married,having kids and a house at 25 are well gone

This is not the site for you either to be fair so definitely dont use it as a comparison with yourself

I've never used a dating app so can't offer any advice to you about them but are there any clubs/ socials/ groups in your real life that you could get involved with

Do you work

Are you in college

Anything happening in either of them that has social events

I have a few younger people as in your age working for me. I notice they start dating each other overtime. They don’t use online sources.

Ignore this online stuff most of it is fake bullshi*t.

Personally I preferred swinging when we met people while socialising (at your age

). This is not me saying to swing socially as this is not what you need right now.

You need to start joining clubs, going places where you’ll meet nice young ladies at the same stage of life as you. Build up friendships and relationships and naturally things will happen for you.

Young man get yourself out there. Like said above start going to socials. Dv8 in Dublin might be a good enough place to head to on Sundays. Never been to it but I’ve seen that they host on Sundays. It’s apparently a normal bar with like minded people from here. You need to find something to replace the loneliness. That will kill you young man. I see your in Dundalk. I’m in Monaghan and I’ll make an effort to meet you for a coffee and get you verified to show others your real. I fully respect you may not want verification from a man but it might help you on your journey. A verification will help you get an invite to socials regardless of who gives you the verification. Also remember fab is not a dating app as such.

As hard as it may seem you need to put yourself out there. Be as confident as you can be, it'll help you relax. Chat to as many as you can and be yourself.

Loneliness is a nasty thing if you let it get on top of you. I truly hope you find what you're looking for. Stay positive. Best of luck

If you're sincere, you should maybe create a plan with achievable steps, slowly, slowly catchy monkey. Write down what you want , write how to get it and then try to do it. One at a time. Crying about not getting something is ok once you've actually really tried. Loneliness is soul destroying, I see it on old people all the time, on someone as young as you it terrifies me.

I'm a firm believer in regrets are for losers so get out there, every day ,one foot in front of the other and take charge of your life.

I feel bed for youngsters these days. Gone are the days where you go out to the pub or nightclubs at the weekend hoping to pull.

What are you going to do to meet someone outside of apps? Approach them in work or at a bus stop and ask their number like an American?

Fab can be like a carnival mirror and reflect back a distorted image and you may well find that the kind of casual rejection that goes hand in hand with a place like this only serves to reinforce your insecurities. It's not a reflection on you at all. Just the nature of the place.

There are a few guys your age that go to organised social events and there's other guys who have overcome crippling shyness and I can tell you that at the very least those guys have found friendsb and a new social network.

Most people on fab are just regular folk with regular lives who enjoy wider range of sex positive activities than normal every day life provides.

It'll take a bit of investment on your part. You'll want some good photos and a bio that is a positive image of you and then you'll be able to attend social events. It's the best way to meet people. Getting verified is the first step to attending events.
