I brought a car for a test drive once, drove out the road, stopped, decided to check out the boot for space etc.. Opened the boot to see a shotgun .. nearly shit myself.. Luckily I was only out the road from the garage on quiet country roads on a Saturday morning.

Pulled up back at the garage, owner says, ‘Well, what do you think?’ Me; It’s okay but not for me, by the way, there’s a gun in the boot!

Him; Ah yeah, I must take it out, I was shooting rabbits last night and left it in the boot as the Missus doesn’t like it in the house!

He was a farmer type so I tended to believe him

Used to valet cars I’ve found some funny/questionable things

- found a small bag of in a ford fiesta

- found a home made bong that was packed and ready to go in a Audi

- found some old porno mags in a lorry I was cleaning

- found a bag full of £20 notes in a Volvo

- used panties in the glove box of a fiat 500

- pregnancy tests in a few different cars

They are just the highlights of things I can think of straight away there’s been lodes of things I’ve found lol

On a second hand car I found a pink pouch.

Inside it was a plastic container, the one to carry pills with some pills and also a small spray container.

I google the name of the spray called “LIDO SPRAY FOR MAN” and it was an interesting surprise.

And I realised what the blue pills was

Took the glove box out to change the cabin filter on a car I’d just bought and a packet of fags fell out from behind it! Previous owner must’ve been a secret smoker.

Same car, I got a flat in it. Took out the spare to change the flat and there was a little bank coin bag with €20 in 20 cent coins. I had a free takeaway that evening after my misfortune.

This is an old one I heard on another forum years ago.

“The aul lad had a Ford Cortina and decided to roll the clock back a bit before sold it to take some miles off. He took out the instrument cluster and there was a note taped to the back of it ‘Oh no, not again!’”
