Sean’s for a touristy affair ( it’s the local attraction), and pints are good though and they have live music after 9. Construction going near the back garden is a bit of a view spoiler though.

For a more hip and lively atmosphere, Peddler Mac’s is the place. Always good music on and a mix crowd of all ages. Mostly buzzing.

For good pints, milder music and old rustic feels , Gertie Browne. Pints are good and they make nice cocktails tails too.

Sean's bar, full of tourists.

Gertie Browns, more locals.

Flannerys, beside Dunnes stores for a crazy vibe, and good music( dogs allowed)

Problem being that the hotel is a fair bit outside the town so you can't have a few pints if you have to drive back
