I watched a guy do it to himself and I held it when it was inserted. I didnt feel that I wanted to insert it. It was a stainless steel set. The pee hole was bigger that normal because he played that way a lot. He is totally straight so sexuality has nothing do with it.

I'm not sure what the appeal is. I'd say controlled masochism has something to do with it

There's gentler ways to be introduced too tho, straight into the sounding can be very daunting. There's a tool called a "cum stopper" a silver ring that slips over the head of the penis , with a curved arm attached, this arm, with a ball at the end of it, is manoeuvred into position and gently pushed into the penis. I've only had one partner ever play with me while I had it on because I trusted her , monumentally so. But there is pleasure to be found in it , for me anyways. More pressure than pain too.
