I don't watch much TV nowadays. Most of us of us from a certain vintage grew up on a steady diet of adds. Some funny some baffling some boring. Watching the euros on my dodgy box, I have opted for RTE so am seeing adds more than normal.

One stuck in my head as funny.

It's the one for the Game of Thrones Spinn Off/Prequel series.

..A Fox and an Owl are looking in the window at the oversized TV.

Fox says, "have you ever ridden a dragon?"

Owl says, "well I rode misses in number 54.."

I thought it was funny.

What memorable add stands out for you lot?

These days we're lacking in interesting, innovative or funny ads. Most of them are trying to seek you an emotion.

Some memorable adds from back in the day are the KitKat Garda, the Guinness dance, digiphone "it's the guy from the bar", the two nuns tricking the devil for his Tayto, G-G-G Galway to name a few
