I'm finding if you break the site down from people that are active that;

1 half are treating it like a dating site , penpals !

2nd half are looking for c0ke or money.

That's what I've been seeing. Anyone else finding the site not being a swingers site ! ?

I agree in parts with both of you above.

Certain couples are far more interested in a third when they are partying, as are some ladies.

The penpal thing is standard if you want to get to know someone before you get intimate.

The money thing comes up sometimes tight before you get the co-ordinates.

You find what you look for.

Its worked fine for us.

Never had any mention of drugs.

We exchange alot of msgs with people, but that's getting to know who you're meeting-that's important to us. Not really sure what the alternative would be.

This isn't the only site we are on and it compares well to the other in terms of meets etc.

100% agree with this. Never been asked for money or drugs. Also a connection is important as more interested in repeat visits.

I've managed to find a great bunch of people on here and am really enjoying myself. That been said, nothing is perfect and expectations should be kept to a minimum - everything after that is a bonus

Can I ask what were you expecting from the site?

Do any other sites live up to what they say they are?

People use the site for what they want, some join to meet, some end up dating, some become couples, you yourself started a topic about becoming a couple on the forums.

As for drugs and asking for money. Just read statuses on profiles and can see it, just report or block, ignore and move on.

I feel like this this keeps coming back to the same answer.

Swinging is defined primarily as couples swapping with couples.

Singles join in and can have fun, but are not the main focus.

The sites doing its job decently. Connecting people with those they want to meet.

Theres simply far too many single male accounts for all the men here to find what they want. I would estimate there is maybe 100 single men per single woman.

Thanks for the responses people. Seems like connecting is important this is 100 percent my thoughts too. I guess the snow thing is someone desperate and not the norm here. Someone said the ratio of males to females is 100-1 that's probably the answer. This post said about the active profiles not everyone in general. Couples are very active on this, I don't generally engage with couples as they don't seek single guys more often then not

Quite a lot of people like myself only really meet at events or socials these days. I've no time for chatting via message so prefer to connect with people at events. I'm not sure have you ever attended any but it's a great way to meet people who you can than organise meets with

Now and again we get offered drugs but we just ignore. With Fab you have to learn to have a thick skin and take what you want from it and ignore all The noise. There is actually a lovely sexy community here, and if you are lucky enough you can make great friends too.

This site does exactly what it says, it's a swinging site.

The reason many (mainly men) have grievances is because they've come here with the wrong attitude or a complete misconception of what the majority are here for.

From time to time you do get the odd couple with a similar mentality that think everybody is at their beck and call.

Kinda late to the party here and admit to not having read all the comments. But, I am sick and tired of being told this is not a dating site and that it's a sex site by single entitled people that clearly don't understand. Firstly as with any social platform it can be used by anyone for anything. Secondly it was primarily set up for people interested in swinging to meet like minded people but progressed, due to people's openness regarding sexual preferences becoming more acceptable. And lastly, if someone is single and is interested in swinging would this not be the perfect place to date and find a partner. Rant over.

You are right it is a swinging site but a lot of people only meet one on one is that swinging? Who am I to say but you'll find that most people are here for their own reasons and there's nothing you or anyone can do about it

Don't fret OP. I think everyone feels some measure of exasperation on fab at some point and it hits different for everyone and for different reasons.

I wouldn't classify myself as a swinger as I'm not in a couple but fab is still a great place to connect with people with similar interests to mine.

IMO fab hasn't really caught up with it's userbase in terms of how it's actually used and leaves everyone, couple's and singles alike, a little short compared to it's potential.

It’s probably not the site for a quick meaningless sex. But it’s a great site for swingers and kinksters communities.

I know it’s hard for guys to get verified, but there are opportunities to meet people here and there.

And I know a few couples who met here and then have created a couple profile and started swinging together. So yes, it’s definitely a “dating” site

It’s probably not the site for a quick meaningless sex. But it’s a great site for swingers and kinksters communities.

I know it’s hard for guys to get verified, but there are opportunities to meet people here and there.

It’s a swingers site for couples. Us singles are just extras for if and when we’re needed. Biggest problem I had with the site was getting my first verification so I could go to my first social. I can fully understand why couples or single lady’s don’t engage in messages on here. I’ve seen the kinda messages men think is alright to send. For me the site is a stepping stone to get to meet and chat to others via a social and to get added to a chat group for banter and craic with like minded people. I’m blessed I’ve made many friends lately via this site and enjoy endless hours of banter on group chats and got to meet some at socials. I’m at the stage in lift where friendship is more important than fucking. I will agree with the OP about the drugs and payment as I’ve experienced this but I just block those as I don’t do drugs I’m not going to fund someone else’s drug habit by paying to get my leg over.

Crap messages I have gotten have never affected how I react to others on here.It did make me tighten my filters and that alone made a massive difference,the rare crap message I get now just gets deleted .

I also don't agree this site is just for couples and singles are here just to be there for them. I'm here for my pleasure not to be used a plaything for others.

The site hasn't changed in the time I've been on here people come and go. And there will always be those who think it should be dial a ride and those who blame others for their lack of success.

But like said above it can be good craic once you get to know people.

I doubt that very much. Others have already said they haven't seen it either.

It's a bit like people who seem to chat to fake profiles regularly and I've never engaged with a single one.

I don't search profiles, hardly ever look at local updates and have never had a conversation about drugs or money.

I imagine it's mainly single men getting targeted with that, we've never seen it.

Most likely coming from fake accounts, the majority of which I see coming.
