Not sure what the problem is with putting pictures up here, we get people saying no they won’t but they will on Snapchat…

We had a couple yesterday get annoyed when we said no to SC and if they wanted to chat somewhere else use Telegram and that annoyed them too

I use snap, never heard of kik or telegram until I joined here! So got those 3 plus here!

Well depends on definition of young

We both are on it and we know lots of people well in their 40’s on it

You can set the pictures to delete after you see them but you can still take screenshots whereas if you want something safer then Telegram is good and can’t take screenshots from it if you use a private chat..

Snap can be weird. Easy to fake pics on it and you can save them unless you put a timer on. At the same time you can see if someone gives you their personal snap by their score and that's a way of knowing they are genuine. We use a mix of snap and telegram

2 phones you can do anything! Nothing is safe! So bare that in mind! If the others are annoyed just move on! I no longer waste any time worrying what the other party is up too. I stick to my guns and have my own rules. Always somebody else comes along sooner or later.

Exactly we use the same, it’s just a bit of a red flag to us, when people won’t chat here first, the attitude was we only use Snapchat… has happened us a few times

True people can take a picture of a picture, we are here to have fun with likeminded people and we say that to people that get annoyed if they are that freaky about posting pictures on Fab then maybe the lifestyle isn’t for them

You don't even need 2 phones - or special tools, or hacks or whatever. Its trivial to bypass. Like you said, if you don't want your pictures to go out there dont take and post any. simples.

Snapchat seems to be a favorite by fake accounts for some reason. I always get suspicious if message 1 or 2 is "lets chat on snapchat"

Only ever used snapchat for a few months because someone I knew through the forums preferred it but I deleted it when she left fab.

I've never had Telegram and deleted kik 6 months ago because I hadn't used it in years.

I haven't been in a chatgroup since the first covid lockdown so it was pointless having it.

I don't chat to anyone away from the site now at all and I won't be giving anyone on fab my phone number ever again because of how that privilege was abused by certain forumites.

Snap can be ok but as others have said, nothing is 100% safe

Telegram can be good as u can hide your number and had a feel of whattsapp but more secretive lol

Plus can set timers on pica etc

Kik is awful IMO, but lits use it

Snap is just that little bit safer in my opinion. Sure, you can still fake stuff, but it’s a lot harder on Snapchat compared to other apps.

I wouldn’t use kik myself , but I’d be open to giving telegram a go

Ya, people who want to move onto Snap is a bit of a red flag for me too.

I don't see the point of any of the Apps really, only for group chat pre socials/parties etc.

Otherwise on here is just fine!

Most of the time it does alright. You can save them on it aswell. Even if it's just for a short period of time. I'm sure some IT guru can get them saved on to another platform. Aswell as a screen shot of them. I'm on it alright. I've no intention to go from here on it. Unless we've meet & are friends. I'm on kik aswell, I only use it for the social chat group's. If we haven't meet I'll only talk to someone on here. If they want us to go onto another app or something, I'm on my gard BIG time.
