Is there one song that makes you cry everytime you hear it?

Or is there a song that holds special memories of a person for you?

For me the song " be not afraid" makes me cry everytime,

The sticks

"World gone mad" by Bastille

First heard it in the middle of the first covid lockdown as I passed thru a garda checkpoint when returning from work.

Place was deserted with the exception of me and the garda on one of the busiest roads in north Galway.

Very apt song for the times we were in

Iris - the goo goo dolls, that one line “and I don’t want the world to see me, coz I don’t think that they’d understand” brings me back to a horrible time in my life

And the other song, I don’t know the name but the words “we’ll meet again, don’t know where, don’t know when, but I know we’ll meet again some sunny day” even typing it brings me to tears!

Or Lewis Capaldi at Glastonbury, when he couldn't get the words out, and the glasto crowd takes over, if I'm in need of a good cry, I'll stick that on.

That's amazing. It's a piece of footage I go back to again and again. To be there...

For me (Mrs) it's Falling by Harry Styles and the but where he says 'what if I'm someone you dont want around'

There's no song I'd cry to every time I hear it, but I will say that Folding Stars by Biffy Clyro is a pretty poignant one.

Mr here, I don't post much!

RUN by SNOW PATROL! It's what my brother requested we play when he took his own life. My 3rd brother I lost! So 1 song sets off an internal reaction. Kind of sticks in your throat.

Anyway sun's out! Cool but no rain! We'll take it
