Political Stance

Does someone’s political stance matter to you when you’re looking for someone on Fab (or other platforms for that matter)?

Thinking about who I’ll be voting for in the upcoming elections has gotten me thinking about whether the above mattered to me. I guess upon reflection it definitely does. I don’t think politics in Ireland has ever been as divided in my lifetime as it is now.

Yes it does. The first time they bring up the subject of politics they can slide on regardless of which way they lean.

It’s a tricky thing to bring up off the bat tbf haha not the sexiest thing to ask “who ya voting for?” But I think you have to be comfortable who you’re getting into bed with.

That's the thing. I'm uncomfortable with anyone discussing politics at any stage on here.

I've never once had a political conversation with anyone I've met through fab.

Yes. If it became obvious their political leanings were diametrically opposed to mine then I'm sorry, their penis won't be entering my vagina

If they happen to bring it up and freely say there preference on politics it can have an affect on if we meet or not we wouldn't want to meet someone that has polar opposite views to ours

Based in Kerry, work in Cork.

Not really, as long as they're reasonable about it.

It's not something I'd be quick to get into and not an ideal subject for flirting.

I wouldn't mind having a reasoned conversation with anyone about politics. Especially if you're chatting with some one for a while. It's not all going to be coy remarks and flirty banter I suppose. But if they talking some mad stuff, that would definitely put me off them.

I always find it best to avoid any conversation about politics or religion but I do like listening to others talking about it because I usually get a little insight into what they are thinking.

Well we wouldn't fcuk a zionist or trump fans , a sense of political awareness is great and a common sense chat on worldly topics are great too , even on a meet . I'd rather talk politics than vacuous nonsense

If it makes me think they're a idiot, then I'll probably just think they're an idiot.

Very touchy subject. Personally I believe that if someone's a cunt, they're just a cunt. Doesn't matter what religion, colour or creed they are. And if you're sound then you're sound by the same comparison. Simples
