I think OP means the country not the store.

I could get my fella to tell you! but that's a fishing holiday not so much tourists things. He did say he would go back.

Had a few friends visit Iceland and while they adored the beautiful country and sights, you will need a LOT of money because everything is beyond expensive. Even basics such as water, tea and coffee and sandwiches, soft drinks and so on are multiple prices compared to what we are used to. Alcohol is expensive too but it’s not as if you are there for a piss up so it may not be the most important thing to worry about.

Reykjavik is ALL about the piss up. Great party town. Happy Hour makes the drinking affordable.

Get an app called "Appy Hour" or pick up a copy of The Reykjavik Grapevine and there are all listed there. The bar Bravó is from noon to 8 if my memory serves.

Also there's only one off licence in the city centre which closes at 7 and doesn't open at all on Sunday so people usually pick up grog at the airport.

I actually gave up drinking after a heavy week in Reykjavik. That was a year and a half ago and I'm still off it!

Happy hangovers!
