Sometimes from people whose profile are like yours. Early 20’s, one pic, a few short words and that’s all. No offence but it’s got nothing going on; no redeeming features or things to grab ones attention. That was your first mistake. And then they send a message that is like yours; minimum content and minimum interaction about it. “Hi” is bad enough, but “close”? Honestly my dear, do you think that would charm your way into their bed? That was mistake two. At least they replied and to be fair, you were lucky to get a reply let alone a witty if sarcastic one. Females and Trans profiles get dozens of similar messages, asking nothing and expecting anything, and sorry but we get kind of fed up of them. That you got the grace of a reply but you missed the dry cutting humour and didn’t understand it, well take that as mistake three. But anyway.
