We jumped in a car and drove out to a blackest country road where was absolutely no light pollution.

Took some spectacular photos.

Initially we couldn't see it clearly, but you could see it through the camera on your phone. But then it changed to really bright long streaks covering the whole sky.

I'd forgotten all about it, and let the dog out for a pee and he started barking and got a bit bothered at first!
