Grew up near Drogheda, it was a once great town for a night out. Shocked when back recently, there really was some great pubs…..though taxi out to Boyne Valley and Thee Place (yes I’m that old) was a pain and a total pain in the bollox trying to get one out of them! Mind you had a burger and a couple of pints in Peggy Moores, very enjoyable.
