Things I never knew because I never googled. The Tories (the British Conservative party) are called the Tories is because Tory was an insult (derived from the Middle Irish word tóraidhe, modern Irish tóraí, meaning "outlaw", "robber", from the Irish word tóir, meaning "pursuit" since outlaws were "pursued men") that entered English politics during the Exclusion Bill crisis of 1678–1681

Surgeons have the instruments for performing procedures placed into their hands by an assistant because they are wearing loupes ? thin tubes that magnify the wearer’s vision, but which only have a limited field of visibility.

I thought it was solely a focus thing. I learned it about... 2 hours ago.

The Irish Government had to take the right facing harp as the national symbol because way back in the 1800’s, Guinness trademarked the left facing harp as their logo.
