Hey, we will be tourists, and we like to explore swing clubs in different countries, anything to recommend in Ireland, or it's just not existing? Any private parties ?

No real swing clubs like abroad but there are private events held from time to time. You can find them on this forum. Or somebody might know the next one coming up

It's related to law, or just no success for the ones who tried ?

No laws against it as far as I'm aware- Ireland is just a bit more sexually reserved as a society than many European cultures. I imagine it's due in large part to religious indoctrination, tradition, and nosy neighboritis.

I'm a foreigner myself so only offering what I've personally seen since I immigrated.

It's also very like the Kevin Bacon game, everyone knows everyone, or someone so it's not as anonymous as other countries. That and nosey fucks.

.

There was a venue used for sex parties that Vanilla Club used, but its just recently shut down.

the law CAN be a factor, You've got public indecency laws to contend with, and then also laws on brothel keeping laws.

Many clubs around the world need to operate a membership system, in order to avoid being classed as a "public space". SO you need to sign up and pay a membership so they can declare it a "private members club.

Secondly, any space where the public believes you can pay in and have sex, is going to be under suspicion of violating brothel keeping laws. At least thats the justification often given to raids on clubs around the. world.

Then we've got the public aspect. you can bet locals in the vicinity would be upset to know a swingers cub opened up, and would definitely try to oppose planning permission or make noise complaints. When sex shops started opening up people we're calling TDs to complain, especially citing if it was anywhere near a school or a church.

After all that, we just don't have the population to support a full time swingers club, especially considering how high rents are at the moment - even in the commercial sector. It's not a profitable business venture, sadly.

Even the organised events that do exist, only just break even with the ticket costs covering the running costs such as venue hire. and most venues don't want to rent to swingers parties, leaving hosts often relying on using AirBnBs, risking getting banned if the host finds out.

So unlike places with clubs, me mostly rely on attending social events, and arranging to meet people from fab.
