Yes, have used it routinely many times. It's a great service.

The HSE also have free STD clinics around the country and you get an appointment within a week. They're great if you have symptoms and want to get the full raft of tests done.

Yeah, it's a fantastic service. I did one last week and it was 24 hours from dropping it in the post box to getting my results texted to me.

Sadly it was all positive and I'm absolutely riddled

It’s an excellent service . I posted the swabs /blood back on Friday and had results by text Monday mid morning

The sh24 results text is graphic so good idea to hide text notifications from phone screen

It's a great service and highly recommended.

Hot shower before the bloods helps the blood flow easier.

And if you take it from the side of the finger and not at the finger print it usually flows better.

I've always been a bit wary of whether I would do this test right and went to my doctor to get tested instead but I'm now diabetic and used to drawing blood so I've just ordered one. Hopefully I will be able to do it right.

It’s a great public service 100% and one of the advantages of it being a through and through std detection service and not a gp is that the samples taken are the correct samples for testing and they’re labelled correctly. You’d be shocked how many GPs don’t know what samples to take for chlamydia and gonorrhoea PCRs etc etc.
