Good morning all.

What's the updates from your area ?

Gained a new trampoline ?

Lost some garden furniture ?

Is your fence taking it all lying down ?

Or any strange stories from previous storms ?

Meath / Dublin / Birmingham

I don't know what state the front or back garden is in, whether my car is on its head, the roof's blown off the shed or the barbecue's on it's arse... because I am still in bed for a rare lie-in so ignorance is bliss for the minute

"Or any strange stories from previous storms ?"

I (stupidly) put my recycling bin out during the last storm and the thing blew over and ALL it's content blew all over the estate. I was running around after them like a headless chicken late at night in a pair of flip-flops and then realised how pointless it was so I gave up. Least some of the neighbours watching out their wondows got some entertainment out of it

A couple of years ago we had a really bad storm and the fence between my house and neighbors house blew down. We split the cost and myself and father in law rebuilt it using concrete posts in cement instead of wood and post Crete. Neighbor did fuck all work wise.

Year before that, back fence blew down in a storm, rebuilt that myself.

So it’s been mainly fences down with me lol some garden furniture has been blown over but the fences were the worst.

Passed a few twigs on the road earlier heading to work in kildare. Free firewood for someone... Otherwise only thing the storm has done is knocked over my empty wheelie bin ha

Ha ha ha we could form a book club!!!! ??????

It was very windy here near Waterford and very wet!! My empty recycling bin moved a bit but remained standing!! Two panels of the garden fence that's already badly damaged was damaged further!! Need to replace them but will wait until May now!!

Thats the safest thing to do in a storm! Very wise, always thinking of health and safety I see
