My wife says she has no fantasies...... Just lives the moment when having sex and enjoying the experience for what it is....... I don't get that myself... I thought everyone had fantasies or am I wrong?

I don't have fantasies. Never have done.

She could have what's known as aphantasia.

I definitely had them when I was younger...but I've done everything I fantasized about at this stage I think.

My wife is similar, she doesn't have many fantasies -more so things she enjoys in the moment. Like you I was surprised to learn it at first but then everyone’s sexuality/interests is/are so different and that’s what makes things interesting.

I don't think it's particularly unusual.

I don't have specific fantasies; I'm not sure I ever have. Certainly there were/are things I might like to experience but those are too diaphanous to describe as fantasies

Fantasies and imagination are essential building blocks of a personality for me, so... For someone saying they have none, let's just say I don't understand how they can live a healthy meaningful life.

Bit harsh, but... There ya go.

Could it be said to be lacking in imagination to be unable to understand how someone can live a healthy and meaningful life without having fantasies?

Lol, yeah, I was waiting for that one

Look, I mean no offense meant. Simply put, for me, I couldn't live without it.

thanks to everyone who responded.I appreciate your views and oppinions.I still cant understand how she says that there is nothing she would like to experience or find out more about .Is it the old Venus versus Mars chestnut perhaps?

No cause I’ve male friends who don’t fantasize….could be just that they have a more responsive desire rather than spontaneous? …or they haven’t found anything that really does it for them yet? …or it’s the sensations/sights/sounds in the moment that they enjoy…..like only liking a band live rather than on the album?

‘Come As You Are’ is a great book by Emily Nagoski if you’re interested in the science of female sexuality and desire models - well worth a peruse.

You're certainly very lucky to have fulfilled your fantasies but I'm sure you have some favourites that you would like to repeat at least once.... I'd like to revisit some of the escapades of our past encounters and I think we will
