Westmeath The West.

The leader of the DUP has stepped down this morning, after being charged with historical sexual offences allegations.

A 57 year-old woman has also been charged with aiding and abbeting.

On Good Friday and all! I wouldn't say I'm shocked, tbh!

Ballsbridge, City Centre

Shocking

I thought closet homosexuality and hypocrisy would be Jeffrey’s downfall but this is awful stuff

Hope it gives the victims a bit of closure

kinkytown

There are rumours flying around on social media for the last few weeks about someone high up in the party being a wrongun for the last couple of weeks. He was linked to the story early this morning after he apparently deleted all his own social media accounts and news broke of a man of his age a woman of his wife's age being arrested in the area they live.

Exactly!

We've seen it many times now, how rapists and paedos often seek positions of authority, so that they can use it for their protection.

"Bryson will be having a melt down haha"

He's been going off using it for political spin to get rid of the most recent agreement and collapse Stormont again.

All the usual names are using it as a protocol political tool completely ignoring the gravity of it all for the victims. All while the severity of who the alleged victims are...

It's nothing new on this Island. Dominant groups within society that protected abusers and castigated victims through fear.

They no longer hold that control in communities and victims will be heard!

Politics in Northern Ireland is difficult enough. Hopefully this will not effect Stormont.
