Longer messages with effort or short spam?

Do people prefer receiving longer messages with personal insight and evidence that your profile has been read, or short generic messages to the point?

Have personally been on the side of longer more personal messages but they take more energy and are draining when ignored

I understand what you mean but why not a shorter messages with personal insight and evidence that your profile has been read?

Try keep it light and fun too and if they don’t reply just send them 10 dick pics, they’ll be putty in your hands!

Truthfully neither in isolation will work for me. But in combination with photos that pique my interest, I guess a longer more personal message would get more traction. I'm under no illusion though that often, even those personal messages are far from it

For me just make it funny or quirky. A face pic will always get and answer.

Hmm, so a short message with photo attached to start or do you mean photos on the profile?

A lot to be said for one word messages. "Wannafuck?"

Yeh, a short fun message with a face pic and it's a good start.

I’ve tried both and neither seem to work.

Always polite, respectful and include a face pic but replies are very few and far between.

Back to the drawing board I guess

We get lots of messages that only say

"Hey,"

"How r u"

"Hey guys"

I think this is way too low effort.

I want at least some indication they looked over the profile and saw potential compatibility.

If they just wanted us to see their profile a wink would do. Very hard to start a conversation from something so low effort.

"A lot to be said for one word messages. "Wannafuck?""

You could try the far more efficient “FAF?”

Say hello , don’t write an essay, anyone looking for “effort “ isn’t worth it !

It's less to do with the length of the message and more to do with the content. A quick introduction and an indication of why we are compatible and what you're looking for is the best.

Having said that we rarely answer messages as we aren't really looking for new people
