Town

She was amazing, such a strong person.

How fucked up is the legal system in the country for victims of such nasty assaults. It's disgusting

Have to say Tommy has rejuvenated himself with that show … should have been first pick for the late late … his off the cuff comedy would make it worth watching… the genuine interest he shows in his guests when speaking to them on a personal level is second to none

He wouldn't have the same freedom with the Late Late. He's better where he is imo.

He also has freedom to go wherever he wants with his interview on the premise he doesn’t know who is guests are. That wouldn’t work on 2 hour show like the late late which is highly stage managed

More pressure with The Late Late than his own show he has now!!

"Learnt things about our legal system last night that are just so wrong "

It was a harrowing insight on how victims are treated. Regrettably, she confirmed the “witness vulnerability” bar that is applied to victims - not vulnerability as sympathetic people would understand it, but legally vulnerable to the ‘she was asking for it’ argument to undermine credibility.

We’d imagine, regrettably, that single female fabbers or a hotwife or any swinger party attendee would not be the ‘perfect victim’ in that regard, and would have their access to justice severely diminished, should any of us have a tragic criminal action perpetrated upon us in the pursuit of our pleasure. Very sad.

Apologies for the negativity, but that was one of the messages we took from her insight into the appalling way victims are treated. Obviously it’s infinitely worse again for sex workers who are most vulnerable and don’t even report the vast majority of sexual assaults on them for the very reasons made clear in the interview.

His current show gets more 'real people' than the Z listers that the late late is often left with. Tommy is much better off with his current format.

It's prerecorded so even when we see about 15 minutes with each guest, he chats with each of them for at least an hour so it's nicely edited.
