Sounds a bit cheesy but you could try saying you'd prefer to look at their amazing body while you have sex. Might give them a bit of confidence?

I've had some people ask for dark before but not that often. And some love the sex but not being looked at for their own reasons. But I'd usually have a sexy candle or two at least. Candles or a small lamp, unless in specifically asked for total darkness which I haven't been in a long time

I don't think it's got much to do with you if a woman wants it dark then it's more likely her own body or image she doesn't want on display or to be seen. Maybe I'm wrong

Of course some people just want the taboo feeling of anonymity too but I don't think that's what you're talking about

I tend to keep my eyes closed for that reason I think. To focus inward on sensations.

So it doesn't matter to me if it's dark or bright since I put the blinkers on myself
