Phone, keys, handbag with diary, reading glasses, wallet, sunglasses, lip balms, tissues, pens, flyers, business cards, hair bobbles, condoms (never know!) tampons (ditto) tons of receipts and rubbish that needs regular sorting out, filing or dumping

Just checked, so the usual necessities, keys, ph, wallet etc. I write a lot so a journal to keep my thoughts in. I'd be lost without that outlet.

Depends on the size of the bag...but mostly:

Keys, wallet, leapcard, lip balms of many varities lol, glasses, deodorant, perfume, mints, diary, pen, umbrella, hand sanitiser, make up and baby wipes.

Depending on weather sunglasses, hat/scarf and gloves...I HATE the cold

If I'm just popping out without my handbag, the few things that I bring in my pocket are keys, phone, dog kibble, a packet of tissues in which I've slid a bit of cash but first and foremost - poo bags for a Bernese mountain dog's giant crap.

My handbag is full of things which might come in handy in an emergency - I'm always ready for world hunger, electronic emergencies (batteries, chargers...), medical emergencies (painkillers, probably well out of date, plasters, blister packs, tampons, pads...), DIY emergencies - if you want a measure-off on willies, I have the necessary equipment in my handbag - including sanitiser and measuring tape

Knife?

Brings me back.

Used to always carry a knife. Some people quite shocked as it was a foldable but half serrated one that did look kinda lethal

However there wasn't a week went by that it didn't come in useful for something.

Nowadays I just carry the foldable multi tool pliers, of which an extremely sharp knife is a part of but which comes into far more regular use and doesn't scare anyone, despite being equally dangerous in the wrong hands.

If not working, I get by with phone and keys

Glasses, tissues, purse, keys, shopping list, phone and a selection of lip balms and lip glosses.

I used to always have one of those packaway shopping bags too but I can't find them anymore
