Spots for daytime play dates

So planning to meet a fwb on Friday morning. The issue is most hotels have a check in at earliest 1, and we are only free until 3ish.

Any suggestions from people here as to alternatives?

Tried dayuse.ie and there's 2 of the airport hotels which do offer this, though the rate is pretty much the same as an overnight stay, so would love to hear of what others do?

Can you get a room the night before and a late check out

Surely the dayuse hotels allow check in from 9 or 10am

Yup,dayuse hotels might be a runner. I was hoping the ingenious people on fab might have alternative suggestions. Dayuse only seems to have a very limited selection, so would love to hear of any other options people might have used.
