Always rolled and eaten with fork and knife.

As for the topping, either Nutella or whichever jam is open.

If I want fancy pancakes I mix yoghurt with fresh strawberries and spread that on them

I’m a fan of the classic lemon juice and sugar. Rolled or folded it doesn’t matter to me, they both taste the same

Good maple syrup. Or a touch of golden syrup if I'm feeling crazy

Butter and a dusting of cinnamon is great too!

Oh or apricot jam and honey

Sugar and lemon is my favourite, Mr likes real butter.

I've bought strawberries, cream, Nutella, mini marshmallows and sprinkles for the kids so might try some of that.

I like the thick ones so can't roll but I use a knife and fork.

Never thought I'd say it but I prefer the thick American style ones too. I usually beat the egg whites stiff separately and fold it into the rest of the batter for extra lightness. Only problem is that it doesn't last so you have to cook/eat them all there and then. But that's a sacrifice I'm willing to make!
