The Lansdowne Hotel in Belfast does the best breakfast in hotels I normally stay in

Sausages,Bacon,Black and white pudding,two runny fried eggs,mushrooms,soda bread,potato farls,unlimited tea and toast

But the best thing is the company I have for breakfast there every time

East / North, Cork

Liberty Grill in Cork is delish. Lovely fresh local ingredients.

I also love me a hotel buffet pileon brekkie , but they tend to be the cheapest of the cheap 30% pork sausage type deals, but are fun for those long lazy night after debauchery mornings.

I may have to jet over to Cork while I'm back. I miss that place.

I’ll second the Liberty Grill in Cork, it’s very good. I was in Bantry for a night back in November and we went to a place the following morning for breakfast and it was delicious too, had these Mexican bean dish and it was the perfect hangover cure.

Finnegans is a regular haunt after the RVC socials too, they never disappoint

Amazing that they can't cook rashers properly

If I have a free day with no kids or responsibilities, I'll have a few beers for breakfast, awesome start to a super Saturday of sports on the tv. Unfortunately I think I've had three of these in my lifetime, but we can all dream.

Yes agreed if cooked properly and fresh, but more often than not, its self service... I often question how they get away with it. Charging 22e for pure slop.

Farmer Brown's in Rathmines used to be good but since COVID, I have no idea what's good anymore. All my usual haunts have shut down.
