Hi me and the Mrs thinking of a trip to Belfast City for a few days. Any recommendations of places to stay and areas to visit for a good night out. Also anything in the lifestyle. Jan and Chris xx

Cathedral quarter is a nice wee place to go out during the evening. There a few nice pubs to go like the Duke of York and Harp Bar.

I would say staying somewhere near the city centre you will be grand.

Belfast is a great spot for a weekend. So many great bars and restaurants. If you get a chance try the Belfast breakfast bap... its out of this world.

Belfast is a great spot. Duke of york has one of the best pints of guinness i’ve ever had.

I stayed in Bullit hotel over the xmas period. Its a great lively bar but the rooms were quite noisy. You can hear everything. Coppi is a great restaurant for you to check out.

Enjoy!

Sadly not. There are no permanent clubs north or south.

You could check out the events thread to see if there's anything on on the dates you're here, & contact the organisers

LOL awww don't say that. I think if you have time, it is worth visiting places like the Shankill and Falls to get a sense of the history of the city.

Came on to recommend James St South - but if you like Asian food go to Zen - the one near City Hall not Cathedral Quarter - amazing food, atmosphere and service.

Nu Delhi is great for Indian Food.

John Longs is great for amazing fish and chips in an original setting and was used to film Derry Girls.
