I'm not Vegan but I know a couple of people trying Veganuary this year.

If anyone here is, there is a super vegan restaurant in Dublin called Glás.

Vintage Kitchen in Poolebeg St Dublin!! Cannot get enough of this place. There's only 12 tables and one sitting per night. Food is sensational and always a huge waiting list when booking but my God,it's so worth it! Very reasonable prices too!!

Dunboyne

If you like a chicken burger, Chimac is the best ever!

Full chicken breast double fried so really crispy crunchy and the Korean bbq sauce and cheese just ramp it up to delight your taste buds. Dublin only so far but I can see it getting bigger.

For BBQ fans, Bison Bar on the quays beside the Workmans club is brilliant. Brisket, pulled pork and all the staples you can think of are delicious. Great whiskey selection and a good outdoor side for smokers too

For lovers of Indian food, two choices.

Cinnamon Garden in Ashbourne for high quality, modern takes on Indian food with great service and good prices, if you go early/specific days.

Koyla in Dunboyne is our current favourite but beware, a fantastic takeaway for 4 adults, 2 courses, about €70 but sit in for that and it's €170!!

You've been warned but the food is to die for

There is a Mexican takeaway on back of quay in Waterford. Can’t think of name but it’s very nice.

If you don’t mind splashing the cash there is a lovely wine bar called Piglit up the far end of Temple Bar in Dublin. If you’re going when the weather is good you can sit outside too (it’s away from the madness of Temple Bar!)

Also Lennans Yard on Dawson Street, Dublin. I’ve only eaten the party food here but it was amazing. Planning to go back to try the resultant proper.

Waterford City

I would also recommend Bodega and The Fat Angel in Waterford and add La Fontana for cheap cheerful and very tasty Italian and the Haven in Dunmore East for a Sunday Lunch.

I always try to get to Morans on the Weir near Kilcolgan in Galway when I'm nearby

Rudys in Blanchardstown is always tasty too.

And once a year all the tables are auctioned to the highest biders for a special one off menu created for that night
