Fake pics

So my last post was deleted.

Does anyone know that uses the app that cannot be named that begins with K if its possible to send fake "live" pics. Quick google search says yes but then says not anymore so I'm unsure and think we may have been sent a fake pic.

Yes it is very possible to fake a live photo using app it's happened to me. They sent exact same "live" pictures to few Fab girls. Ask them to prove by requesting them to send pictures blowing kiss holding up fingers etc

I wouldn't trust ANY static pics to be taken live in any app.. They can ALL be faked. Best way is to use a video 1on1 or ask for them to do something live. A loaf of bread on the head is a favourite

Given the amount of apps using AI to make pictures move etc I would say its extremely possible for some to send a fake live pic via that app.

Good to certain extent but if people are borrowing pictures from Twitter etc won't necessarily find them. I use Google images as well. Pimeye is a facial recognition site I use as well.

I don’t even think it’s about experience - some fakes go to great lengths you’d almost have to admire their tenacity.. I also thought I had developed a sixth sense to spot the fakes but fell for one recently that sent a voice note to reassure me “she” was genuine.

I don’t understand the motivation myself but fakes and picture collectors are a lot more prevalent on Fab than any of the other apps we use.

The motivation is either pic collectors or to con guys it’s most often money

Confidence scams that later look for money in some way

There are apps/ai that can take a face pic and find every picture of that person on the tinterweb. So for those that wouldn't want people to find out who you are in real life or if you are cheating I'd think hard about sending face pics

100% this I recently found private pictures on porn sites by searching for my face pic on pimeye. So I never give my face pic now

You can reverse image search on fab atleast

I find the app beginning with K it’s easy to spot a faked live picture
