Coco's Law

Just a little effort to raise awareness amongst Irish ladies on fab.

.

It is a sad story I have seen happening to 3 different ladies over in Ireland, who I count as close and dear friends.

.

Remember girls, when he turns out to be a kunt, download your fab images and threaten to share them with family, friends, work place and even your kid(s), Coco's Law is your best friend.

.

The mere threat of doing that is a criminal offence. Please (women and men) Google up that Irish act of law. I think a bit of information won't harm anyone.

.

Stay safe all xx.

I know a married guy that was on another dating sites and a lady he was chatting with was an admin on a "disaster daters" page on Fbook.

She posted his picture and wanted to find out who he was and his wife's name.

She found out his wifes name and contacted his wife, so all hell broke loose as you can imagine!!!

It's wrong on so many fronts, for a person to do that to another person.

To the person it happens to, stay strong & talk to someone. I know that's easy for me to say, it's true.

That is actually false information. If he downloads them from a public forum you fall into a loop hole where Cocos law does not apply.

Also you will only have a case if your face is in the photo or some sort of tattoo or anything that can prove 100% that it is you in the photo

Once you upload pictures onto a public site, they're unprotected and up for grabs - unfortunately - but obviously public means public.

Different story when pictures are exchanged in private or taken at a meet. Any public usage would need consent.

While the poster above is right that prosecution isn't possible when the victim isn't identifiable, there's also a protection tip hidden in that to protect yourself from 'picture exposing'/bl@ckmail:

Keep your face and any clearly identifiable attributes out of nude pictures, so that it could be anyone.

Keep your face pics straight face pics, in other words no rosettes, flowers, melons, rears and little heads.
