I read them sometimes just because I'm a nosy bollix

They're nice to get, I like getting them but I wouldn't lose sleep over getting them or not. Last couple of people I didn't, and wouldn't ask. Happy to write veris for anyone though.

We do like to read the first two, just to see what others have said, but we do take any verifications with a pinch of salt, we feel some are very generic.

We now dont post ours, we read the ones we get, then do the veri back and thank the couple privately. We just need it a few to prove that we real, and for club invites.

They're very important for us which is why we display all of ours. Sometimes it's whats not said that we pay more attention to.

I'd suggest it's more the messaging than the veris that are the issue. You're flogging a dead horse there. Go to socials instead

We think they matter, in the sense that if a person or couple has verifications (only meets-in-person count, as far we're concerned), then someone else who has met them wouldn't verify them (we've never seen a negative veri?) unless they had passed muster.

Also, for people who don't post pics, a veri might be the only chance they have of getting to meet someone else? Prospective meets have nothing else to go on...

When reading other folk's veris, we're less interested in comments on how they look or how sexy or fit they are than how well they could communicate and engage, sense of humour, how respectful they were, how relaxed and down-to-earth, etc.

Personally I've no interest in reading ones that describe step by step sex activities - couldn't care less how much sucking and fucking and leg shaking was involved and where the load was blown.

What they do confirm is that a person does leave their home to meet people in person and isn't solely here to string people along, perve at pics and continuously sext with no intention of ever meeting anyone.

All that said - while verifications indicate a lesser chance of a no show, they do not irradiate it. Even very well verified people do sometimes get cold feet and don't show up.

They matter to me only in regards to who not to meet.

I've never met anyone based on a verification because I'll make up my own mind about them. One person's definition of hot, sexy and/or lovely could be my definition of a thundercunt.

I have however refused to even chat to people because their verifications aren't consistent with the rest of their profile or they have met people I would never want to be linked with through a verification trail.

Ive met unverified people who turn up on time and were the nicest of people, ive met well verfied people (these were verfied by well known fabbers) who cuntish behaviour was appalling not just to me but others aswell, verfied is just another word on here to me....

We like to see a person/couple has been verified, least we know they have stepped away from fantasy and made the effort to meet

That said we have zero interest in reading the sexual exploits in them. Sexual chemistry is different for everyone , so what one person thinks is amazing another won't .

We also hate when (and not hating males here ,but it's usually them) males use it as an over sold selling point. For example 'read my verifications to see what I'm like'

Thats very true one can get many veris just by being social here but does not guarantee the nature of the person and also the chemistry …

To be honest I don't really care about the content of a verification. All they mean to me is that a person/couple is who they say they are and showed up when they said they would. The rest is all subjective. One person's sex god could be another person's d**khead.

I think veri's matter because I wouldn't meet anyone one who didn't have any .

It's lessens the chance that they are wasting your time , especially if they have a few from people who you may know or know of .

I've met a few people who haven't been veried and all turned up and had no issues with them. I've the filter on now so no one unveried can message more to cut down messages than anything else and the fact I'm not meeting anyone new at present.

Being veried or not has never really been a factor why I would meet or not meet someone,as first meet is always a social anyhow.

The only reason I pay heed of veris is to avoid some who have met other people who I know would just cause drama and I cannot be bothered with all that crap on here.

As for taking notice of what veris say I've seen too many who claim people are lovely and nice when they have been quite the opposite in chat or in person,I prefer to make my own mind up about people.

When I joined I was reading profiles looking for verified people only.

I thought to myself how can one get verified if they can't meet someone to get verified

It wasn't long before I realised that verification is important, two guys turned up at mine d*unk driving lol FFS one got bagged on the way home. The other was very messy. Hence to say I wasn't impressed with either.

Then all the no shows or won't swap numbers if we're meeting. Then there's the guys who are looking for a meet but won't swap numbers but they're grow single men supposedly. I wouldn't harass anyone or cross their boundaries, my logic of swapping numbers is for safety and giving them direction to my exact house. Twice two guys early on who wouldn't swap numbers were driving around staking out people's houses, fuckers were pulling up outside elderly people's and young families homes sitting there messaging me on Fab looking for the house. How fucking awkward.

Then eventually driving to my house, and standing looking suspicious again.

The mortification of it.

Then I decided to join the club of meeting verified people and people who will swap numbers if we're going to meet and a chat on the phone before hand. ..

Other than that yeah my preference is for verified and people who joined the site

I pay attention to veri's. Not so much the content but whether they are genuine or not.

Every now and then I get a message from 'couples' with a direct proposition to meet soon with no preamble and those accounts usually have one hidden or visible one that leads to a circular trail of other accounts with one suspect or hidden verification.

There's also quite a few couples accounts that have a few veri's that are years old and look likely to be operated by a now single male.

I never get suspect messages from single women.

Is it really that simple though for couples and women though ?

From speaking to very well verified couples whom

I know on the scene both wanting to meet both sexes and other couples.

I know quite a few have had some pretty bizarre experiences these last few months.

Stating from some individuals being extremely rude to them right up to no shows.

Women may have it slightly easier than men but there ain’t much of a difference.

I think it’s safe to say that most women on fab are also involved in the swinging scene in some shape or form. That’s why they are verified. Trying to get a one to one meet with a male non swinger for a woman is not as simple as everyone else think it is.

Veris are a great source for information, entertainment, irritation, drama, fab news and much more.

I find them rather useful intelligence source that can contribute bits to the decision making process.

^^^^^^^ This....(a "sows ear" does not equal a "silk purse")....Some veris are total lies & exaggerated....For instance.... I met a guy once on my previous profile....He was glorified in verifications as being "very handsome & gorgeous" When I met him....He was way older by about 20 years

omg the shock & let's just say NOT so good looking as ("very handsome and gorgeous") as mentioned in his many verifications

It totally threw me tbh....he had his age as 34....the man looked at least 52!!!! Why did so many verify him in all honesty....he's a Cat~Fish.

I was verified on a previous profile by a man claiming to have been on a fab hike with me.

I had no idea who he was and had never heard of him.

He also verified a couple of others who were definitely there but they didn't know him either.

He knew all the details of the hike though so we assumed he had verified from a second account either accidentally or deliberately to stir.

To make matters worse he verified me as a lovely lady and he looked forward to hooking up with me again.

Admin removed it when I reported it.

I've just remembered....I received a veri from a man I never met or chatted to before on my previous profile....I never thought I could have reported him.... But like that he wanted me to verify him back

....Which I didn't obviously....I just blocked him to remove his veri from my account....But it still showed in summary that I'd met one more man when I hadn't....

Some are just chancers I'd say....

Same for me they complemented me on my gorgeous kisses and I had never seen them before but never thought of reporting it as when I replied they apologised and said they thought they had the correct profile!

I met and verified someone once years ago and a year later they left the site.

They came back and were immediately verified by people they knew from before.

I didn't see the new profile until they verified me again without even saying hello.

The verification they left described a scenario that had never happened so I kept it hidden and didn't bother asking why as I assumed they were playing games.

We always have a social meet first, so we may get overlook a lack of verifications for a newbie couples we got a good vibe from.

But meeting couples or individuals as a couple feels a lot safer than meeting a single man alone.

If I get as more inclined to arrange hotel meets for play, then verifications would be an absolute must.

I think guys forget that women approach casual sex from a position of fearing sexual assault. On a site like this most women understandably cautious.

We're worried about running into men who have a very low opinion of us for being swingers, but it expect to sleep with us all the same.

We'd want to see people, particularly other women, saying they felt comfortable with this guy, no matter what activities they did together.

Turns out the couple gave the verification from a meeting from a nudist beach..the same person was very different on a meet. Rough had me bleeding and was high on . When i asked him a few times was he one something he denied it. So this verification put me in danger..how can a meet verification like that be okay. Asked a few times for him to stop. Had been chatting to him for awhile. So some verifications are no good. Summary is no good. I have that on my profile but will be changing after tonight
