Which do I pick?

So I'm free this Sunday and I'm in two minds whether to go to Belfast to the Christmas markets or to Dublin to the Guinness factory. I've not been to either of them. The Dublin one will be an overnight stay. Which would be best to go?

somewhere

Dublin will be a complete rip off with regards to everything really especially accommodation since the 2 Johnnies are playing 3Arena

Belfast or Derry

Cheers lad. I'd get accommodation cheap enough, it's the 3 and half hour journey each way that puts me off. Derry is good, being there plenty of times. Belfast could be worth a shot

Belfast market is a rip off too but going out in the city itself is always fun!

In fairness they can get a crowd going of 10,000 people so that they enjoy their night out

I agree with you....omg I had to change radio stations because of them.... Seriously....they've hogged 2fm .... & I think they're exaggerating their country accents sometimes I just cannot listen to them.

I hope we've moved on from that but I'll be wearing very plain clothing just to be on the safe side

They are playing to the crowds and are making a ball of money out of it. Fairplay to them. Having said that I'm not particularly fond of them.

If the choice is Dublin v anywhere else in Ireland the answer is always Dublin. The atmosphere around Xmas is always great. Huge choice of places to go, hey the drink is a bit on the expensive side but for a one off weekend it's well worth putting up with. Hotel prices not too bad either. I'm stay pretty close to City centre Saturday night, double room for 220.

Don't believe the negativity and ignore the recent extraordinary behaviour of a small minority.

The "Dying notices" were funny the first time they did them but now they do them every week and it's just like a repeat. Still, Gift Grub have been raking it in based on the same rubbish for about 10 years now so it seems to be the norm for Irish radio comedy.

I appreciate this. Its definitely on the bucket list to go there and try out the Guinness factory. It's the traveling to it is putting me off and trying to find parking too
