Used to manage a company where every Monday morning we had the delightful pleasure of clearing used condoms that were tossed out by people shagging in cars at the back of the building. There were 8 or 10 every week.

We had to install CCTV cameras all around the building following an attempted break in and straight away we were collecting half a dozen condoms every single morning rather than just after the weekend.

There were no digital recordings back then so everything was captured on VHS and it took ages running the tapes back to see who the culprits were. There were 3 different cars and we could see them stopping on the main road and covering their number plates before parking under the cameras.

I had to attend an alarm activation at 1am once and when I was waiting on the engineer to call I was looking at the cameras and one of them was pointing in the opposite direction from where it should have been.

When I played the tape back one of the cars we had recorded before pulled up and the guy took a set of steps out of the back.

He climbed onto the flat roof with tools and turned the camera around so that both cameras at that side of the building were now pointing at his car.

He set the alarm off walking back across the roof so he drove off in a hurry and left his steps behind.

Next morning he appeared in the office asking for them back because he had borrowed them from work and would lose his job.

He was scundered but that was the last time it ever happened.
