Fill your own bottle of Black Barrel from the cask in the Distillery in Midleton. Boom

Am fond of the odd one. The lesson I've learnt is to buy Japanese. I've honestly not had a bad one, but a slight step up in price pays dividends to your taste buds.

Suntory toki was the first I tried, wouldn't even look for it now compared to:Tenjaku is as easy to get and only a quid or two more. If you find yourself in Newry, sainsburys probably have it and you should definitely get one.

Akashi will sting you a bit with it's 50cl bottle at same price, but worth it according to everyone I know who's tried. All are, in general, far too easy to drink. Which only makes it a problem for your wallet

Whiskey drinker here all the way..

Glenmorangie and Jameson are my all time favourites..

Always make it a point to try an expensive single malt or scotch every year.. Royal salute, Blue Label, Amrut, Macallan all out of the way.. searching for a new one to try
