Cork

Have you ever had a moment where you thought feck this, I'm taking a shortcut.

I had this this morning cutting up a pomegranate. I'm buying prepared in future. Life's way too short for that effort

The one and only time I was in a lobster restaurant.

They had loose lobster meat on the carvery table across the room so I took that instead after a load of effort for very little return.

I was only watching a chef doing it on TV last night!

I buy the packs with the chicken already cut up. It saves me the job and it's cheaper than the breasts which I'd be chopping up anyway for curries etc

I'm a firm believer is paying someone thats good at their job the rate to do something I couldn't be arsed doing

So while my neighbours wash their car by hand every few weeks and hover and polish all afternoon

I get a valet......feck that life is too short to wash a car

I've also stopped buying packets of bagels that you have to cut in half yourself and buy pre-cut now

I have amazon spart plugs connected to everything.

Alexa, switch on my electric blanket. Alexa, switch it off in 30 minutes.

Switch off my monitors. Switch on the lamp.

Saying "Goodnight" will just switch every thing off automatically, which is satisfying hearing everything click off simultaneously.

But like, if you don't eat the cheese quick enough, it goes all hard amd cracked at the edges. Would pre grated cheese not turn bad way quicker than a block?

Score the pomegranate. Break off a segment.Place into a bowl/pot of water.

Take out seeds under the water. Seeds stay at the bottom and the husk floats to the top.

Easy!

Nope, grated cheese comes in a resealable bag!! As do some blocks...but a block of cheese is way nicer! I'm old school like that

Getting those pesky prophylactics out of the wrapper and fumbling to get them on is always a bit of a chore.

But always better to be safe than take shortcuts in that area.

Get a cleaner... I spent years doing housework on a Saturday after a long work week.

Life is better now. Frankly life is too short... A few less luxuries and I justify the time for myself and my family.

Do you end up cleaning the house so they don't think you're dirty before they arrive

In a rented house on my own. Hoover regularly. Anyway the auctioneer can do an announced or un announced call when ever. Just as easy to keep the place clean and not to be panicking at last minute dot com

Definitely a block of cheese - packets of grated or sliced are coated with a powder that stops them sticking together in the packet and so they always taste like plastic

Hate ironing it’s painful. Hate folding clothes another pain in sack especially when something creases.

Remedy

I built a wardrobe hang everything. From ground to ceiling double railed.

More expensive clothes of premium quality that are special non iron cotton.

Special Dyson handheld hoover to keep things clean - fast.

Reusable condoms- hang them out on line. Ya ya right.

Striped paint - super fast painting no edging required. Ya ya right.

I get my women pre fucked and wet at the checkout.

Saves an awful lot of unnecessary preparation time. Just unpack and go.
