Using the C word

Not Christmas but the other C word inadvertently in public. I was coming out of a shop and I dropped the eggs beside the car door, I half spoke/whispered, “You stupid c” to my self. Unfortunately there was a lady passing who shot me a withering look, and at the top of her voice said, “utterly unpropitious” and whispered to me “you fing bol icks”. and romped away. Good news, there’s only one broken egg! The question is, is the C word ok now?

As far as I know the far left have been slightly disarmed since Musk took over twitter and thus far haven't labelled it a slur, although I wouldn't be surprised if it's in the pipeline.

Some people take offence, some people use it as a term of endearment, some people will be offended some will not care.

It's fine by me but I wouldn't use it on my CV , but some people might .

Exactly... special people like "dickheads", but let's face it, that doesn't have to same gunpowder as "CLUNT"... when no other word comes close, it's a must. Having said that, no word is nice if directed as a dirty cutting comment, so I will only use in jest to those I know and trust.... and to CLUNTS

I actually love the word...but as a jokey term to describe friends who make me laugh. Then there's the people who behave like cunts...for those people it's said with venom for maximum effect! But I'd never use it to describe a vagina...too vulgar in those circumstances. It's all about context!!

Tbh words are only sounds that are used to communicate, it you take and your interpretation that makes them offensive or not. You're in charge of being offended not the person saying the words
