I'd say start going to social events and clubs.

There's a list in the forum here somewhere that the whole years calendar is on.

Social events seem like the only way forward, most don’t reply to messages because they’re inundated. Couples and single woman that is!

The most common reply/s to this thread will be, stop sending messages, cause of the volume of messages they get(Couples & women) they don't read all of them, no reply is a reply, maybe put more info in your bio about yourself, this isn't your first profile, etc.

That all said there isn't alot you can do about it. Just keep the head, interact on the forum & go to a social or a few of them. By interacting on the forum, it'll help people to get to know you more, before or after a social. Also as it was said already you've more verifications, then alot of guy's on here. It'll happen in time for you.

I second the advice above. You profile needs work. Its all about "you".. Perhaps add some flavour to it... "the Im not here for the whole site" yawn... Is overused.. Good luck

That last one is one of my fab pet peeves. Imagine going to a restaurant and saying I'm not here to eat the whole menu and shame on that one over there eating already the second dessert!

Ffs enjoy every bit whatever you're having and let others enjoy theirs without being judgemental.

.

I say this with respect, but when you say: "My messages are polite no dick pics" and "always respectful" .

You know those are the bare minimum right?

Like, for me what I look for in a man isn't just every single person who messages me in a polite manner?

Those are good things to do, obviously. It helps. but those are not the criteria to have women falling at your feet.

Your bio isn't great, you have a few typos and spelling mistakes.

I wouldn't describe yourself as frustrated, it sounds desperate.

You could describe yourself as a musician rather than going into where of what you did.

Just try to look at your profile as a woman who is open to a someone like yourself?

Describe the dynamic or the type of person you are looking for, sometimes being specific helps, because there will be people who read it and think you two seem like a good fit based on those specifics.

But always bear in mind. There are about 60 single mens profiles per single womans profiles. and many of the single women will not be looking for new Fwbs if they have a few already.

So don't expect too much. I wiuld say fab probably has a lower success rate for single men than traditional dating apps.

Fab is a mad spot years ago it was good I think pre covid. The ratio of men to women-couples on here is mad like 100 men to 1 woman. As said above women and couples get 100’s of messages so its hard to get trough them all. Some people like to go to socials to meet people but you have to break into that Clique to get anywhere on fab I’ve found. Only my two cents but don’t take anything on fab to heart cause It’s not the be all and its mostly image based if you don’t fit the `Type’ you don’t get anywhere .

Have fun

There is no clique. The only people who say that are guys who don't get what they want.

How do you know there's no clique? I can easily understand why so many think there is a clique.

Oh god another I can't get a reply never mind a meet thread..I think the mods here shouldn't even entertain this and delete immediately, it's the same thing every few days .."I'm a decent genuine polite guy with 8 inches with great oral skills" bla bla bla..this is a numbers game 50 women to 300+ men ..the real number could be 500 could even be 700 or 800 men all vying for female attention from a small pool of 50..there isn't enough to go around so some will inevitably go without. Quit moaning and get on with it

Obviously a topic that comes up often in the swinger community. I'm not saying there is one but also not saying there's none (and I couldn't be arsed by either). All I'm saying is I can easily understand that many perceive certain behaviour as cliquey. To knock them consequently down (like above) isn't really helping to install faith in the 'welcoming open community'.

I would suggest there is a clique, fabbers who go to organized events who knows each other a long time form their own bonds making it difficult for newcomers but hey thats life let's not dwell on it

I've seen so many guys on here talk about cliques.

I have no problem disabusing anyone of the notion that's there's a clique of swingers preventing people from attending events or taking part in the swinger lifestyle.

Implying there is one is the opposite of welcoming.

I'm speaking from my experience.

The scene as a whole is very welcoming.

But everyone is a newcomer at some stage

I walked into my first social in a hotel after the first lockdown and I knew one person and it was her first social too

I only got an invite 48 hrs beforehand so wasn't chatting to anyone in advance

I still talk to people I met that night , If I go to a social I say hello to them and chat

Is that a clique....could be

Is it welcoming to newcomers....yes it is

Ive gone to socials where I've seen people sitting on their own and invited them to join our table

I know I'm not the only one to do this

Its just being friendly

There are certainly cliques at events but there are also plenty of people who are welcoming to newbies. If you’re nervous about attending an event, make the hosts aware so they can introduce you to a few people, who will in turn introduce you to more.

Fab takes effort. You either make it or you don’t.

OP your pics all look like screenshots because of the black border. Crop them in so it’s easier to see you, instead of being distracted by the background.

If you’re struggling with replies to messages, get involved in the forums/chatrooms/events. Whatever suits you best.

Also, personally the “lonely” in your header is offputting. Painting yourself in a more positive light goes a long way.

Best advice I can give is......

There are far more clits than cliques on here so concentrate on the former and let the latter to play with themselves.

Ask a woman who knows you to write your profile. You might have more success.

I dont find the community overtly cliquey. Whilst it does take time to figure it out. I have attended socials on my own and had a great time. Its mindset oriented. Just make a few connections and hopefully bloom from there.
